Father daughter duo, Phoenix and Dave, bring you their combined passion for movement and music in this unique Flow and Groove class. This class is a unique collaboration of each of their skills. Dave is a lifelong songwriter and guitarist who focuses on the uplifting potential of music through rhythm, melody and dynamic and atmospheric variations. As a lover of movement from a young age, Phoenix discovered yoga as a path to recovery from her dance injuries and has found through her practice, both joy in movement and a stress reliever. Phoenix completed her 200-Hour Hatha-Vinyasa certification in 2012 and has been teaching classes regularly ever since. Description: For thousands of years Traditional Chinese Medicine has used therapeutic cupping to treat a myriad of conditions from colds and asthma to pain and injuries. Facial cupping can be transformative to the dexterity and appearance of the skin and underlying muscle and is used either as a standalone treatment, or as an addition to Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Facial cupping works to massage and gently pull up on the skin to increase local circulation. It draws nutrients to the surface while simultaneously encouraging movement of stagnant fluids and easing puffiness as well as enhancing absorption of lotions or serums.
This increased local circulation stimulates collagen production, diminishes lines, reduces puffiness & dark circles, drain sinus congestion and promotes lymph drainage. TMJ, jaw tightness and pain, sinus pressure and headaches can also be positively impacted, and treated.
Facial cupping oil contains jojoba, argan, calendula, arnica, lavender, bergamot and frankincense essential oils. Anyone with seed or more specific allergies to these ingredients must notify labarre studios in advance so we can supply an alternative.
