​Spring Studio Update!

We have turned the corner in May and we are continuing to reach new milestones at labarre studios.  Socially we have reached 100 followers on Instagram, 300+ likes on Facebook and our Twitter account is also taking off in hopes that we can keep you – our amazing guests – in the know all of the time!  More amazingly, we are currently at 80% of our Founding Memberships reserved.  This is great news but also a heads up to those who are thinking of getting in at our lowest rate.  The $99.00 monthly-unlimited class package simply won’t be matched and once it is gone, we will move to the next tier of co-founders memberships so don’t delay!
 
We are not the only ones having a successful spring! Our members are also reaching new milestones.  We had our very first member join the “100 Class Club”… what an achievement!  Congratulations to Melissa Rosa for reaching her hundredth labarre class! Talk about commitment and “raising the barre” and to do so before we even open the true studio doors at 1445 The Alameda!
 
Our drumming classes continue to grow in popularity and rock the South Bay.  Last month for our “80’s Rock” drumming format, we experienced over 100 guests come through our doors to “rock the house!” We also held our debut drumming-instructor training class and we are fine-tuning our own labarre Drumming Instructor Certification Program.  Our drumming certification program will be available to all this summer.  Furthermore, drumming classes will be available each month on our permanent labarre schedule – something many have asked for and we are excited to deliver!
 
Continuing on with assuring you have options as you travel along your fitness journey, for the second month in a row we are offering our Mindful Yoga classes.  These will take place on Saturday, 5/20 and Sunday, 5/21 at 9:00am.
 
These Yoga specialty classes are free for all guests to enjoy.  Yoga will be available weekly on our permanent labarre schedule, which is updated dynamically at labarrestudios.com.
  
The Equipe continues to grow! We have hired some terrific childcare and front desk staff to join our labarre team.  Our instructors continue to thrive, challenge and motivate our guests all while filling up our underground classes.

Construction is moving quickly and the finishing touches are now happening at 1445 The Alameda.  We anticipate being in our studio by the end of May into the beginning of June-with our grand opening to follow.  As you see in this post, we are in the final throws of making this space uniquely amazing!  Keep checking all of the social channels and the site to be kept up to speed on the completion of the labarre oasis we are building.
 
I want to thank you all for making this journey so much fun.  It is because of you that labarre was created.  The thought of bringing a community together, while blending fitness that creates strong bodies, creative minds, and free spirits is the impetus of labarre.  The studio and business will be unique and special because of all of YOU.
