The studio at 1445 The Alameda doesn't only have outstanding facilities to design yourself, but it also has a place for your piece of mind while you are doing so. Moms and Dads can take advantage of our childcare area, la play, to assure a calm mind, body and spirit when it is "their" time of the day. We currently have childcare available for 5 classes a week.
Our childcare équipe are comprised of a playful group that shows off the wonderful diversity that is a foundational key
here at labarre. Providing compassionate care while you're getting your workout on is a primary focus for this service.

* What ages do you accept?
We offer child care for children ages 6 weeks and up! At 10 years old we offer the option to have older children quietly enjoy the front lobby area with a book or electronic device.
* How much does childcare cost?
We currently offer child care class packs (just like our labarre class packs!) in quantities of 10 or 20. These classes don't expire and are a great deal. The 10 class pack is $60 and the 20 class pack is $100. We also offer child care on class-by-class need for $7 per child, per class.
* How do I sign up?
Sign up directly on our labarre studios app on your phone! If you are signing up more than one child, simply sign yourself UP multiple times, one time for each child's reservation. Please call or text at the front desk for further assist. You are also able to sign up for child care at any time at the front desk.
* Do I need to sign up ahead of time?
Just like with our fitness classes we recommend signing up ahead of time. Space is limited in our child care area and we want to be prepared for our youngest members. Please remember to check in at the front desk the same way you check in for class, before heading back to laplay.
* How many children to you have back there at a time?
Our current child care area is able to accept 7 children in a class session.
* Are the équipe CPR or First Aide certified?
All of our childcare providers and staff are CPR certified and many are First Aide certified!
* What kinds of activities are available in the child care area?
We have a well-stocked play area providing enrichment toys for our smallest members to our big kids. Coloring pages, construction paper, crayons, blocks, animal and people figurines, and a great train track set are available at all times. We also have a variety of creative play toys that rotate through our child care area (silly sunglasses, faux fruits and vegetables, and our play cash register are all big hits!). For our youngest ones we have age appropriate linking rings (teething safe), discovery rattles, and rubber duckies.
* How often are the toys and enrichment materials cleaned?
We do a minimum of weekly sanitation of the surfaces in la play. This includes countertops, stools, chairs, the changing station, our mini barre, door handles and edges, and all of our blocks. Other enrichment toys are sanitized on a bi-weekly basis.
* Can I send my child with snacks?
Snacks are la play approved. We do ask that if your child has any food allergies you make sure that information is on your profile with the front desk. If you are looking to send your child with snacks, please consider these friendly tips: Single serve packs or pre-portioned snacks are great. Labels make everything easier to keep track of as well. Peanuts are a very common allergy - if possible please keep peanuts and peanut products at home.

When we were looking at our class schedule we aimed to provide childcare during the classes that would best benefit our overall membership base. Cancellation Policy
Classes: A $15 charge per late cancel for cancellations (less than 4-hours) prior to class time.
Childcare: A $5 per late cancel for cancellations (less than 4-hours) prior to class time.

Members will receive 3 strikes.
Members will not be charged for the first three late cancellations.
This happens one time and does not reset monthly.
Non-Members will be charged for one class per each late cancel, and will not have a 3-strike grace period.
