Now that the doors are open and classes are in session we are reflecting, each month, on our incredible Guests of labarre studios! Some have recently signed up and we welcome them with open arms, however, many have been with us since the “underground days” at Roundhill Studios (big shout out to Donna for helping launch labarre by allowing us studio time!)
One of those original Guests is the lovely, sweet and beyond wonderful, Melissa Rosa. She logged over 100 classes faster than any other member and her smile and attitude is infectious. You will meet her and want to hug her but if you don’t have the pleasure of knowing this gorgeous woman, get to know her in this month’s Guest Spotlight!

Fitness is important to me because:
7 years ago I had an accident. That accident changed the way I do things and gave me a different perspective on life. I avoided certain situations because I couldn't do certain things, but now, I'm stronger and more determined because of barre!
I'm grateful to Sara Rosa for telling me everyday, "you can do this" and "I promise you can do it!" and of course, "There's a modification for everything.”
Because Sara initiated the thought and Lisa went underground, I decided to try it.
I was so excited that first day... Tired but excited and here it is, 7 months later and I'm seriously addicted!!
My fitness goals are…
5 lb weights during arm excercises and to maintain a plank for as long as Lisa says! Her big line is "you can do anything for a certain amount of minutes!"
The most important thing to me is…
Quality time, making memories and sharing this one life we have with family and friends.
One thing I learned about myself in the past 6 months is…
I'm stronger than I think!
